About Me
My name is Isla Maxine! I was born in Columbus, Ohio, but have lived most of my life in Wichita, Kansas. I started writing creatively — stories, songs, poems — at a very young age. I started playing the piano at age 5 and have picked up multiple instruments since such as guitar and percussion. I regularly take vocal lessons, piano lessons, and percussion lessons. I am a percussionist in my school’s symphonic band and I showcase my vocal talents with Injoy Fountain Academy. Outside of music, I enjoy acting, reading, and baking.
